Born in Lund, Sweden on October 5^th 1945.

Father Professor in theology was asked to open the institute of ethics at the University of Zurich. That is why we came to Switzerland in 1958.

In Zurich I finished the school and the whole medical studies.

After that I had an education in Gynaecology, Paediatric Surgery and general Surgery in Switzerland and abroad. After board certification in general surgery I worked in this speciality for a couple of years.

Since 1982 I started my education in Plastic Surgery in Berne in Switzerland and got my board certification in 1986. Since then I have my private office in St. Gallen, the eastern part of Switzerland.

Besides the reconstructive surgery I do mainly aesthetic surgery since then. I was president of the Swiss society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery in the years 1999 till 2000 and president of IQUAM, a society for quality assurance and medical devices from 2001 till 2007. I am actually president of ISAPS.
